So this past Valentines Day was great. It was wonderfully… normal! Omar and I agree that though its a nice occasion, it’s an excuse to celebrate what we already do every day, and so we had a dinner, dessert, and drive night. Nothing out of the stimulating, wonderful and romantic ordinary.

Several days ago we both stayed in and had work/ personal growth reading time. He read to me from Steven Covey’s infamous, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People which we are both reading right now. It was an eye-opening reading after which both of us are living more proactively and embracing every moment. Though I already thought he was the most wonderful boyfriend ever, he stepped it up even more and we are enjoying each other’s company to yet another level. Where we had dinners on his rooftop every few nights, immediately after his Paradigm shift, I went up to his rooftop expecting the nice quiet spread, but was surprised to see the table outside on the patio, candlelight, and ambient music. He had a blender ordered up behind the bar with which he blended delicious fruit drinks for me by hand, and we enjoyed a nice four course meal which felt amazing because of the little extra touches. Though I have dined on his roof a million times, and each time has been fantastic and unique, his handmade personal touches to change it up were well appreciated. Since then every day there has been something extra or three or eight added to our day, and our bond has grown to another level. Though everything was always more than enough, by becoming an even more proactive person, Omar is all the more amazing to me

We both realized that though we had many proactive habits, others were reactive as well. So instead of waiting for a stimulus to force a change, the key is to just simply grasp the moment until habitually you can seize the power of shaping your own destiny. Every moment feels more intense and freezes as a unique memory as opposed to a lovely but fuzzy haze. Much better than being under Destiny’s control, eh?

Skype video time with my mum n sis and their adorable cockapoo, Milo is very fun. It’s nice to keep tabs with them in the DC blizzard as I welcome the sun here in Dhaka.

hahaaaa this poor little puffball got neutered and is wearing a funny funny little handicap of a conehat so he can’t lick his balls.

My beautiful mom and gorgeously blooming little sis! *sniff*

So excited to go the heights of the world, Kathmandu, Nepal with Omar in a few days! I have gone a few times when I was younger but cannot wait to experience the ancient city full of charm and natural beauty with none other than my most darling ever boy!
